Production Test Technician

Job Purpose:

To perform troubleshooting on completed products to ensure quality.

Nature of Duties:

• Test, troubleshoot and repair complex analog and digital boards and assemblies, including RF
• Trouble shoot down to the component level and replace defective parts
• Strong working knowledge of all printed circuit board test processes required for PC assemblies
• Demonstrated ability to analyze process problems and rework boards
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation (routing reports, prints, schematics, equipment manuals)
• Soldering – both basic and SMT

Education and Experience:

• 2 year Technical Degree
• 8   years experience as a technician
• Soldering experience or certification is desired
• Experience handling and testing of RF components
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
• Ability to follow oral and written guidelines or drawings and accurately and concisely communicate testing results
• Detail oriented
• Excellent Computer skills
