Nuclear Engineer designs and initiates processes to gain benefit from nuclear energy and radiation. Conducts research into problems of nuclear energy systems. Being a Nuclear Engineer designs and develops nuclear equipment. Monitors testing, operation, and maintenance of nuclear reactors. Additionally, Nuclear Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering or related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Nuclear Engineer work is closely managed.     As a nuclear medicine technologist, you'll prepare patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs. Working under the supervision of a physician at a hospital, physician's office, diagnostic lab or imaging center, you'll help patients understand the procedure, prep and deliver radioactive drugs, operate equipment, keep records and more. You'll play an important role in helping patients and providers get the answers they need.

    Minimum Requirements

    • At least 1 year of recent experience in relevant setting and specialty
    • ARRT/NMTCB Certification
    • BLS Certification (AHA)
    • Current state license (if applicable)
