    Job Summary

    • Performs a variety diagnostic imaging techniques to detect and map radioactive drugs in the human body.  Administers radioactive pharmaceuticals to patients, then monitors the characteristics and functions of tissues or organs in which they localize. 
    • Participates in the instruction of students and other staff.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent Nuclear Medicine Technology school.
    • A minimum of two years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist is preferred.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

    • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.  (ARRT, CNMT)  Advanced certification in specialty area is required.
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) is required.

     

    Work Schedule

    • Varied Shifts as needed; PRN

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

    • $31.75 - $48.00 per hour
