Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a LTAC facility in Fort Wayne, IN

• 3x12s Nights EOW
• 13 Week Contract

Blended Rate: $58/HRLY (Stipend Tax)

Requirements:

• Must have AHA BLS/ACLS certification
• IN Nursing License or compact
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an RN with critical care, ICU, step-down experience

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a long term acute care setting, utilizing your expertise in catheterization, IV insertion, and patient assessment.
- Utilize your critical care experience to assess and monitor patients' conditions, ensuring timely interventions as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic life support and ACLS protocols to respond effectively to emergencies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using and EHR systems.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all nursing standards and regulations to uphold the highest level of patient safety and care.
