Maintains nursing staff by recruiting, selecting, and training clinical staff. Being a Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care ensures that nurses are current in competencies, assessments, licensure, certifications, and other annual training. May provide direct patient care and is responsible for evaluating patient health. Additionally, Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care may require an advanced degree. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a director. The Nurse Manager - Long-Term Care manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. As a technician at Greater Boston Long Term Care you will work in a dynamic and fast paced environment, ensuring the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives through data entry.
What You'll Learn
As a growing independent pharmacy, in an evolving healthcare environment our team members take on multiple roles. You will learn our new patient intake, order entry, and dispensing processes, which include warfarin and clozapine monitoring, and controlled substance refill scheduling. You will also learn about MAP (Medication Administration Program) regulations, long-term care facility regulations, and our role as pharmacy provider in these guidelines.
Position Summary
The full time data entry technician will work 40 hours/week and will be scheduled between Monday-Friday between 7am and 6pm and also requires availability on holidays.
