Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care works in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to manage care for patients in an acute care setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Wellness Visit Nurse Practitioner. Nurse Practitioners (NP) needed to conduct In-Home and embedded clinic Health Assessments in Newark, NJ, and surrounding areas like Manhattan, and New York. We offer year-round opportunities: Full-time or Part-time.
Set your own schedule and earn an excellent income! Our healthcare providers conduct comprehensive, in-home and embedded clinic Health/Annual Wellness Visits with Medicare patients as part of their health insurance benefits. The evaluations are conducted in a face-to-face manner where the member resides as well as PCP clinic. Within the visit, the clinician reinforces the importance of staying current on covered preventive services while identifying potential gaps in care, which stem from unnecessary hospitalizations and ER visits.
Our Providers enjoy:

- No prescribing or treatment, simply performing consultative assessments/evaluations
Requirement:
- Must be State licensed and Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with NPI.
- At least 6 months of experience in doing wellness exams is a MUST.
- Previous EMR skills preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
The following will be provided:
- Credentialing services and paid training.
- Liability insurance.
- Scheduling of appointments with Medicare members within a certain time frame.
- Web tracking and scheduling tools to maximize your travel time.
- Ipad Tablet/laptop Provided.
- Mileage Reimbursement.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
