Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care works in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to manage care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Ambulatory Care works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues.     HOME HEALTHCARE RN JOB REQUIREMENTS: We will accept RN's with 1 year of experience in ANY setting, however if the nurse does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. Any experience will be accepted as long as the RN has at least one year of licensed experience. The RN must be Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse must have a current license in the state. The Registered Nurse must either be a US Citizen or have your green card.

The OASIS document is computerized, but in paper form is equal to a 38-page questionnaire, and then a lesser number of pages to update it for recertification and discharge. So, there is a lot of paperwork in home health-- are you going to be fine with that?
