Dynamic Psychiatry is a fast growing total mental health provider dedicated to delivering comprehensive and total patient-centered care to individuals and families. As we expand to opening a new office, we are committed to treating the root cause of anything that causes mental health difficulties. As such, there are many medical causes of mental health struggles that must be addressed to completely help our patients. We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who has experience or is willing to learn integrative medicine. This includes hormone replacement therapy, gut health, vitamin deficiencies and more. You will have a full psychiatric and therapy team to support you and your patients.
Job Summary
Since functional medicine is not part of the core curriculum for most medical education programs, you will receive comprehensive training and education regarding a total wellness approach. This will include Hormone Replacement therapy (testosterone, PCOS, Menopause, infertility, etc), gut health, vitamin and mineral evaluation, Vitamin infusion protocols, Vitamin injection protocols, Nutrition recommendations and programs, and more. This position will not be insurance accepting so patient and provider will determine length of appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and comprehensive assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate, in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide patient education on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Promote health equity and advocate for the health needs of individuals and families in the community.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of integrative medicine.
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner graduated from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-BC or equivalent).
- Active state nursing license with advanced practice authority.
- Experience in integrative medicine is a bonus but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with mental health providers.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology.
- Commitment to learning to dictate notes for maximum efficiency.
