Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a pediatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. We are seeking an on-call Nurse Practitioner to join our Now Care Department.
This position offers shifts and schedule which are variable with some weekend hours required.
In this position you will:
- Perform patient exams and diagnostics
- Perform or assist with procedures and therapies
- Provide patient education and support
- Participate in department development and quality activities
- Play an essential role in fulfilling our mission
- Heighten the patient experience by providing extraordinary care
Benefits are limited for on-call positions
Minimum Requirements:
- APRN License in the State of Montana
- Previous Family Medicine/Primary Care experience is highly preferred
The successful candidate will be subject to a background check.
