Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric works in collaboration with physicians to manage care for patients in a pediatric setting. Orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Pediatric requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     THE POSITION

    • Location: Leawood, KS
    • Hours: 4 days a week and 4 hours Saturday morning.
    • Case Details: Infant with g-tube.
    • Now Offering up to a $5,000 Sign On Bonus & up to $4/hour in Shift Incentives!

    THE COMPANY

    Since 1990, Pediatric Home Service has been providing high quality one-on-one nursing services to children with medical complexities. Our in-home nursing support allows our patients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the patients we serve are aged birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator, or g-tube.

    TRAINING

    • One-on-one training
    • Specialized ventilator, trach and g-tube training provided
    • 24-hour support staff
    • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required!
