Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care jobs in Kaneohe, HI

Adventist Health Castle seeks a mission minded Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care Clinics at any given location as needed. Locations include Kailua, Pearl City, Kapolei and Waikiki. The ideal candidate will be flexible, team-oriented, dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care, possess strong communication, and interpersonal skills, clinically strong, and work autonomously. Incumbent will maintain responsibility for providing expert clinical care including comprehensive or problem-focused health assessments, medical diagnosis of illnesses, write prescriptions, formulate treatment plans, and perform procedures specific to scope of practice and level of competency.

Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited graduate-level program that produced a master’s degree in clinical nursing or nursing science in relevant field of specialty. Current Hawaii Registered Nurse License. Current Hawaii Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License with prescriptive authority that meets education requirement(s) for Hawaii state APRN prescriptive authority. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to work weekends, and float to all Adventist Health Castle Urgent Care Clinic locations required. Department of Transportation Medical Examiner (DoT) Certification required within 90-days of starting. Reimbursement will be provided for cost of certification, and the time to train. Hawaii medical licensed or eligible, and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years NP experience or equivalent in emergent or outpatient primary care setting. Family Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (FNP-BC) or Adult Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (ANP-BC).
