Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health works in collaboration with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to provide medical care and treatment in women's clinic setting. Provides care to women from adolescence through menopause, with a focus on reproduction and gynecology. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health assesses patient condition and may provide treatment using specialized medical equipment. Works in outpatient settings, responding to high patient volumes in short-term spans and dealing with unpredictable situations and issues. Follows established guidelines and protocols. Requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. We are seeking a full time Advanced Practitioner: Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife or Women’s Health Physician Assistant to join our busy clinic located at the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland. A typical work schedule is 4-5 clinic days per week, hospital rounds & discharge, and possible Saturday clinic. In addition, there is front line on-call support that consists of 1 day per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 holiday per year. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
This position provides a mix of obstetrical and gynecological patient care, ranging from wellness exams to routine obstetrical visits. The position does not include an individual obstetric panel, all obstetrical care is co-managed with the physician team. Prior experience within women's health preferred, integrative medicine, internal medicine or family medicine nurse practitioners will be considered based upon experience. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, exude professionalism, a strong commitment to a patient-centered team-based care, and successful completion of education and state licensing. This can be a part time or full-time position, with associated benefits.
Starting pay range, based on experience: $115,000 - $173,000 per year.
