Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     The Director of Nursing Services has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care at the center, while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/resident and employee satisfaction.

    Qualifications of a Director of Nursing include:

    • Valid state nursing license
    • Advanced degree or certification preferred
