Nursing Education Director jobs in York, PA
Nursing Education Director leads and directs the overall planning, development, and administration of nursing education programs. Oversees the design and implementation of curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Nursing Education Director evaluates the department's performance and ensures that all federal and state regulatory requirements are met. Requires a master's degree in nursing. Additionally, Nursing Education Director requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Nursing Education Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Nursing Education Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Responsibilities of the ADON Assistant Director of Nursing:
- Provide the highest level of care to residents at our nursing home
- Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
- Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals
- Resolve resident issues and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping the information confidential
Qualifications of the ADON Assistant Director of Nursing:
- Must be a Licensed Nurse in PA
- Previous Unit Manager or ADON experience
- Responsible, ready, and eager to work
