What You'll Do:
You will be a Pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist working in our outpatient clinic(s) FULL/PART time (your choice). Should you choose, you will also have the opportunity to work in the Early Intervention/Steps program, working a school-based setting or provide private therapy in a patient's home depending on your location!
As a member of our clinical team, you will become an integral part of each of your patient's services team. Being a part of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to closely interact with other clinicians of our lively team, learn how to become a remarkable therapist and crush your job responsibilities, which include:
- Occupational Therapist will assess the patient/child's fine motor and sensory skills for the purpose of identifying disorders.
- Occupational Therapist will develop treatment plans, interventions and educational materials.
- Occupational Therapist will educate the patient/child and/or family about their disorders and recommend accommodations to be implemented.
- Occupational Therapist will provide families information on the use of appropriate aids, strategies and technologies for the purpose of minimizing adverse impacts.
- Occupational Therapist will complete evaluations and annual reviews
- Occupational Therapist will be responsible for writing individualized goals for each patient or child.
