Occupational Therapist plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities. Teaches patients skills/techniques and how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities. Being an Occupational Therapist studies, evaluates, and records patients' activities and progress. May require a master's degree. Additionally, Occupational Therapist typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Occupational Therapist certification. Occupational Therapist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.

License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.

Experience: Minimum one year of full-time equivalent experience in a supervised setting.

Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families and health care team members.

Analytical ability sufficient to identify changes in patients’ conditions and to initiate appropriate action.

Anson is a town in Somerset County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,511 at the 2010 census. It includes the villages of Anson and North Anson.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 48.29 square miles (125.07 km2), of which, 47.49 square miles (123.00 km2) of it is land and 0.80 square miles (2.07 km2) is water. Anson is drained by Mill Stream, Gilbert Brook, Lemon Stream, the Carrabassett River and the Kennebec River.
