Are you a licensed occupational therapist in California with a specialization in orthopedics? Akeso Medical is seeking a skilled individual like you to become part of our dynamic team, offering part-time hours ranging from 16-24 hours per week. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and is based at our modern Chula Vista location. At Akeso Medical, we provide a collaborative work environment where you will join a diverse team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and acupuncturists.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• California Occupational Therapy License is Required
• Advanced Practice in Hand Therapy, PAMs &/or CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) are highly desired.
• Experience in treating repetitive use injuries and a strong orthopedic background is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are necessary for effective patient care and collaboration within our team.
• Prior experience with Electronic Medical Records systems (EMR) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
• We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about contributing to our clinic's growth and success.
This position offers mentoring from an experienced CHT for those candidates interested in working toward their certification in hand Therapy.
