Position is responsible for conducting coverage analysis, obtaining all required prior authorizations for services ordered by our physicians. Also working insurance companies and or patients to obtain and maintain correct insurance coverage information as well as preauthorization requirements. Also if needed assisting with insurance claim denials. Responsible and maintaining the credentialing process for all providers, assistance with insurance companies CPT/HPCS reimbursement, as well as maintaining the spreadsheets and databases associated with duties and responsibilities outlined below. Solid communication with other departments is required at all times.

Requirements
Knowledge of medical insurance industry, laws and regulations is required. Experience in medical terminology is highly preferred. Must be skilled in identifying/investigating problems and arriving at a solution. Skill in computer applications is necessary. Must have an ability to effectively communicate with patients, staff and the public. An ability to accept change is required.
Education: High school level education required / 2 years of college level education preferred
Experience: 1 year office experience
