Responsibilities

• Accountable for dispensing medications in the hospital in accordance with the physician’s patient care plan, established departmental and hospital policies, and legal requirements.
• Interpret and screen physician orders for appropriate dosage, route of administration, drug or therapeutic incompatibilities, and contradictions with subsequent resolution of any questions arising from this procedure.
• Procure the medication and package, label and dispense it in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree 
• OK license

Preferred Job Requirements

• One (1) year previous pharmacy experience
