Operating Room Supervisor jobs in Wyoming
Operating Room Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in the operating room. Ensures adherence to procedure and schedule. Being an Operating Room Supervisor supervises the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies, staffing and training of employees, and budgeting. May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients. Additionally, Operating Room Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Operating Room Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. The Operating Room Nurse Supervisor will work to ensure that their team is up to date on their clinical competencies and will actively engage in clinical quality improvement tasks. This Nurse Leader will be responsible for the smooth operation of multiple surgical suites and make sure that their team is running efficiently.
