Move Indy is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the full-time role of Director of Operations(DoO). The DoO will oversee and manage all Operations staff (drivers, movers, supervisors, and managers). This position is largely administrative and requires strong interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates will display excellent written communication and should be comfortable learning and using various forms of modern technology (phones, tablets, laptops, CRM systems, etc.)
Ideal candidates will have prior logistics and/or moving experience, as well as experience building, training, and managing teams. The DoO will be responsible for talent acquisition, training, scheduling, and damage resolution, as well as the daily tasks required to keep the facility running smoothly. This position requires strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management.
This position includes a company-provided cell phone and fuel card.
This position is supported by a separate sales team that handles sales calls, social media marketing, calendar management, and online estimates.
