Operations Research Analysis Supervisor oversees the collection and analysis of data to evaluate operational difficulties and make recommendations to solve problems. The Operations Research Analysis Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Job Responsibilities
- Determine staffing requirements and facilitating the hiring process; coordinating employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of move crew
- Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory
- Lead mover/driver training; responsible for team development and motivation and corrective action programs
- Promote safety and uphold safety procedures and policies; ensure compliance with all Department Of Transportation regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration guidelines
- Serve as the “on-call” contact outside of regular business hours
- Conduct safety spot checks during moves to ensure safety and customer satisfaction; oversee damage resolution Develop and implement an employee recognition program
- All other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Job Requirements
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Driver’s license with a good driving record
- Willing to obtain a DOT Physical
- Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multi-task
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
- Job requires persistence in the face of obstacles.

- Physical stamina to assist with lifting/carrying 100 lbs. or more
- Proficient with the following Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and random drug screens
Work is generally performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards; however, occasional lifting up to 100 pounds may be necessary.
