Job Summary
The Prospect Research Analyst, under the supervision of the Senior Director of Development for Prospect Management, serves in support of the Division of Institutional Advancement and Texas A&M University-Kingsville Foundation, Inc. Accountable for systematic identification, analysis and maintenance of prospect data and data segmentation. This includes data research, entry and analysis of biographical, financial, professional and engagement information needed to aid in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of donor, professional network and volunteer prospects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works with Information Technology to maintain the integrity of databases and upload/import and export information.
Produces data lists and reports for development officers and other internal stakeholders aiding in the advancement pipeline.
Maintains advancement records, including biographical records and donor relations.
Maintains relationships with clients, media, stakeholders, and prospective clients.
Assists with special advancement projects and events.

Additional Responsibilities
Directs the construction and tracking of prospective donor pipeline for the institution.
Proactively seeks, interprets and extracts information from various electronic systems and print sources pertinent to prospective supporters to enhance and maintain prospect data.
Evaluates data to develop and/or implement strategies utilizing ethical intelligence-gathering and matching techniques for an optimal moves-management advancement process.
Participate in prospect management meetings and work to provide analysis, reports and/or prospect profiles in support of advancement goals and institutional project priorities.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience - Three years of related experience in data collection and analysis.
Knowledge of - Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to - Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
