The mission of the Software Quality Assurance Technician is to work with our development application team to achieve our business’ digital goals. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with a wide range of Quality Assurance experience. In addition, the candidate should be able to initiate new software testing requirements and see to completion the entire quality assurance process. This position will be responsible for implementing testing checklists and processes on our existing desktop and online entities, as well as gathering requirements and implementing new internal and external procedures as the need arises.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Candidate must have strong understanding of UI, Business Requirements, and industry Standard testing procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, and product managers to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.

Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and verify fixes in a timely manner.

Continuously improve and optimize existing test automation frameworks and processes.

Perform manual testing when necessary, including exploratory testing and regression testing.

Participate in agile/waterfall development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Document test cases, test results, and other relevant information to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability.

Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance.
Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including automated testing.

Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, pytest, or similar.

Various Platform Testing (database, API, UI)

Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal.

Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with State Regulations of different jurisdictions

Experience in gaming with Player Tracking and Slot accounting Systems

Certification in software quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus
