Job Title: Lead Database Administrator

Salary Range: $110,000 to $140,000/year

Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid work schedule)

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Lead Database Administrator for our client in Madison, WI. This role will be responsible for hands-on database administration as well as leading a small team of employees and/or contractors.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensuring optimal, reliable connectivity and troubleshooting databases related problems.

Overseeing and performing projects involving database administration.

Leading strategic planning concerning database architecture, data management and expense reduction.

Identifying and implementing improvements and automation opportunities.

Guaranteeing the security of all database platforms, and supporting audit requirements.

Continually learning new technologies and suggesting enhancements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of database administration experience.

Hands-on experience with Oracle version 19x software and utilities required.

Proven experience configuring & optimizing database solutions.

Experience leading a team & fostering collaboration.

Superior communication skills, both written and spoken.

Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL.

Experience with cloud database administration is desirable.

PowerShell scripting capabilities will be highly regarded.
