Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. This Position is for a Order Puller with a lumber company in Canton, MS. Will be operating forklifts to pull orders for customers and delivery trucks on lumber yard. Perform duties as assigned. Will typically work 50 hours per week.
Requirements and Qualifications include: Must be a qualified forklift operator.
