Order Clerk jobs in Worcester, MA
Order Clerk receives and processes orders for materials and merchandise. Utilizes order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, record prices, delivery dates, inventory status, maintain customer information and other data related to each transaction. Being an Order Clerk confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. Researches and resolves order errors and updates the system. Additionally, Order Clerk may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Order Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Essential Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales to obtain sold orders
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy
- Convert Opportunities to Orders
- Complete project financial summary in CRM using attached order documents
- Reconcile order and reporting discrepancies
- Work closely with Sales Engineers and Project Managers
- Understand CRM and maintain familiarity with weekly CRM updates and any WebEx trainings
- Point of reference for Sales / provide CRM assistance
- Work special projects as assigned

Education/Experience/Minimum Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years previous sales and customer support experience
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
