Order Entry Clerk Job Summary:

The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for verifying order information for accuracy, making corrections, entering data in the computer, and checking the output.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Enters customer and account data.
• Inputs text-based and numerical information from source documents within a specified time.
• Compiles and verifies information for accuracy.
• Organizes documents, reviews for accuracy, and sorts information for computer entry.
• Reviews data for errors, corrects incompatibilities, and checks the output.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and database applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
