Confirms orders, updates shipping status, and notifies customers of any backorder or delivery delays. In addition, Order Entry Clerk I may prepare packing lists or other order-related documentation. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being an Order Entry Clerk I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
