Stoltzfus Meats makes and sells fine, fresh, home-style foods. We have an opening for a FT Order Fulfillment Manager who will oversee the daily operations in the Ecommerce department. This includes participating in picking-and-packing orders, enforcing cleanliness and safety procedures, inventory management, and working closely with the Ecommerce Manager, other retail/operations managers, and the overall Marketing/Sales team.

Qualifications:

Speak, read, write, and understand English required

Ability to stand, walk, and twist for long periods of time required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly required

At least 1 year of manufacturing, production, order fulfillment, distribution environment, or inventory control experience required

At least 6 months of supervisory or management experience preferred

Self-motivated, able to act with urgency

Able to use Microsoft Office products Outlook, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities:
-
Managing the daily operations of order fulfillment department of Ecommerce, including assigning tasks and creating efficient workflows
-
Perform all duties with a high level of attention to detail, systematic thinking, and organization
-
Participate in completing daily functions of picking, packing, and labeling online orders which come from individual customers, QVC marketing, and corporate gift boxes around the October - December holidays

Work conditions include temperatures ranging from freezer environment to indoor climate controlled area to outdoor overflow workspace (cold, rain, snow)

Managing inventory and ordering of food products, shipping supplies, and any other goods needed, keeping in mind lead times for production and order minimums

Learn online inventory platform, and train to backup to communicate with customers and assist with resolutions as needed

Coordinate fulfillment needs for large orders with wholesale plant and other retail managers

Operate equipment including pick ticket printers, label printers, pallet jack, forklift, and company car/van
-
Oversee fulfillment department team members, including scheduling, training, coaching, and progressive discipline
-
Enforce cleanliness of the order fulfillment facilities, including personal hygiene, equipment cleaning, and work areas/countertop spaces

Manage and maintain relationships with shipping and delivery vendors to ensure efficient service and best pricing
-
Communicate equipment needs, repairs, and other facility concerns to the Director of Sales & Marketing

Collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager to create efficiencies, discuss concerns, and evaluate new ideas and potential supply partners

Attend the weekly Marketing/Sales department meetings
-
Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies; contribute to a safe working environment for all team members

Schedule & Benefits:

Full Time is an average of 40-45 hours/week

Tentative schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm; flexibility for earlier times possible

Saturday shifts as needed to complete orders, typically around the October - December holidays

Additional overtime is available/required during high production times of year, typically around the October - December holidays

No late nights and no Sundays!
