Job Summary: As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of merchandise for our online customers. This role involves various tasks within the warehouse environment to support the fulfillment of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving and Processing Incoming Stock and Materials: Accurately receive and process inventory by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and reconciling inventory against shipping manifests.
Picking and Filling Orders: Carefully pick and pack orders by following specific instructions provided via an electronic or paper picking list.
Shipping and Handling: Prepare orders for shipment, which includes boxing, labeling, and ensuring that orders are dispatched to the correct destination in a timely manner.
Inventory Control: Conduct inventory counts and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Report any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and damages, ensuring the quality of goods before they are shipped.
Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in warehouse maintenance and cleanliness, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Equipment Use: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks, following all safety guidelines.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet targets and deadlines.
