Order Fulfillment Director leads and directs the order fulfillment process. Oversees order entry, administration, and shipping processes. Being an Order Fulfillment Director develops scalable business processes and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing. Implements order tracking and CRM systems to process orders, maintain customer information, and monitor contracts or agreements for expiration or renewal. Additionally, Order Fulfillment Director establishes inventory monitoring procedures to track and trigger actions that will maintain appropriate levels of products. Partners with stakeholders to identify conditions impacting the fulfillment workflow and to develop effective solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Order Fulfillment Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Order Fulfillment Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     These are temp-to-hire positions.

    The hours are 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. or 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay starts at $19 an hour.

    Job Responsibilities :

    • Work closely with customers to ensure their needs are being met consistently, to reset expectations as needed, and to retain their business through the overall success of their account
    • Executing on customer renewal, expansion, and advocacy opportunities
    • General order entry duties; enter and maintain customer purchase orders in CRM
    • Provide timely feedback to customers regarding order status, shipping methods, expedites, etc.
    • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work place
    • Communicate and follow up on routine matters with internal departments
    • Maintain sales orders / part files and records, including technical drawings
    • Process order acknowledgements
    • Answer phones and greet guests
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements :

    • 3-5 years customer service experience in manufacturing environment
    • 1-2 years technical customer service / document control experience a plus
    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite
    • Ability to read title blocks on drawings / revisions
    • Excellent communication skills, organized and detail oriented
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
    • Must work well under pressure with a positive attitude
    • Must have a strong sense of responsibility
    • Dependable and trustworthy
    • High school diploma or equivalent
