Ensures quality care and services for patients by implementing systems and operational procedures to coordinate service delivery. Being an Outpatient Services Director aligns processes with business, clinical, customer service, quality, and financial goals. Monitors, evaluates, and modifies programs while adhering to company guidelines and standards. Additionally, Outpatient Services Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Outpatient Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Outpatient Services Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Position Summary:
Counselors are primarily responsible for the delivery of individual, group and family counseling services and completion of documentation required for the clinical record including, but not limited to; development of the Individual Treatment/Service Plan (ITP/ISP), psychosocial assessment, daily notes, and monthly reviews. Counselors will attend interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, monitor treatment throughout the clients care, and establish parameters for discharge planning. Counselors are responsible for crisis intervention and de-escalation of situations to ensure safety to all. This includes assessment of crisis situations to determine severity and making recommendations to peers to insure consistency and appropriateness of staff responses to issues. Counselors will develop an approved curriculum as the basis for group and individual counseling.
