The Program Specialist assists the director, manager, and coordinator in the Center for Advanced Global Leadership and Engagement (CAGLE) with short-term study abroad programming, pre-departure meetings, webinars, orientation, and special events in regard to program coverage, specified assignments and evaluation of programs. The Program Specialist also provides administrative support for CAGLE Initiatives and Programs, preparing CAGLE cultural and other events for students, creating and processing purchasing forms/contracts, reconciling funds, scheduling promotional and planning events, and preparing travel requests for CAGLE faculty leaders in AIRS, and assisting with program management in Terra Dotta. The Program Specialist assists with CAGLE's marketing and recruitment efforts and passport services.
The normal work schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm. However, evening and weekends are required for some programs and conferences.
Must be able to lift and carry program materials, AV equipment and refreshments as needed (approx. 25lb).

High School/GED
Four years of work experience.
Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.
Must have the ability to interact with faculty and students in a professional manner. Must be able to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to work with a diverse group of internal and external customers. Must have a service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Related field.
Previous experience working for a study abroad or international program.
Experience in using software programs such as: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Terra Dotta, OASIS and InDesign.
OSU systems software experience.
Experience in an office environment duties including but not limited to: customer service, travel organization, event assistance, answering phones and emails in a prompt manner, and managing interns or student workers.
Experience in representing a brand or organization in a professional and polished manner.
