Morehouse General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to support our research and community engagement activities in Bastrop Louisiana and Surrounding Areas. This role is part of our efforts to advance health equity within our community and promote community-based initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO in an effort to build relationships with community partners, coordinate events, and develop effective strategies to increase visibility and support for our initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.
• Organize and attend community events to promote awareness and engagement.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase visibility and support for our initiatives.
• Create and maintain effective social media campaigns
• Present monthly updates to Leadership Team

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in community engagement, program coordination, or a related field.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.76 - $30.00 per hour
