The Packaging Operator I works at the last stage of the manufacturing process packaging the finished product mix into labeled cartridges, tubes or other containers.
Essential Functions

- Ability to read and understand work order instructions and noted schedules
- Prepare shift with raw material requirements
- Ability to load and off load totes from press machine
- Ability to perform visual inspection of product and packaging to ensure proper fill weights
- Set- up dosing for press parts
- Responsible for recording production totals and maintaining scrap records

- Possess good computer skills
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to read & write in English
- Comprehension of written instructions
- An ability to safely push, pull or drag up to 100 lbs. frequently
- An ability to safely operate equipment and necessary tools
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times due to running of machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on shift.
Monday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 am
(Subject to change based on business demands)
Required Education and Experience
- The ability to read and write in English (Required)
- High School diploma or GED (Required)
- Prior manufacturing supervisory experience (Preferred)
- Prior Quality Control experience (Preferred)
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Concepts (Desired)
- A high school diploma or GED (Required)
- A previous experience in packaging or other manufacturing operations is a plus
