LAB Security Systems is a small family-owned company that manufactures and packages precision parts. The packaging position checks, packs, as well as inputs inventory into the system; prioritizing workload as well as communication with supervisor and willingness to help other departments as necessary.
Responsibilities:
· Use company program to find workload
· Check over machines, check stock, retrieve necessary items from warehouse
· Ability to multitask across multiple machines and computers
· Comfortable using IPad
· Ability to fill/pack sleeves of stock and record information into inventory
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
· Weekly cleaning of the department
Day to Day:
The pin packaging associate starts up the department in the mornings and jumps right into packaging orders. Throughout the day they will be running machines, packing throughout the day, and must be able to stop and switch to higher priority orders. They must also be able to approach various departments for parts needed, as well as their direct supervisor for any orders that are waiting for parts, or items to be back ordered. At the end of the shift, you are expected to tidy up and shut down the department for the night.
