Packaging Manager manages and oversees the packaging staff on designated shift to achieve operational objectives. Observes, analyzes, and researches packaging line operation to develop and implement scientific and efficient process. Being a Packaging Manager implements quality control check to ensure the packaging meets environment, health, and safety regulations. Provides staff with directions on materials and equipment for each package. Additionally, Packaging Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Packaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Product ManagerA Product Manager is a professional position within Taghleef. The ideal candidate will drive profitability in designated product segments through proactive product management, market gap identification, and innovative portfolio enhancement. As a key team member, the Product Manager will collaborate across functions to boost sales, manage product life cycles, and execute successful go-to-market plans.
Responsibilities:
- Increase profitability of product segments through active management and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and address product/market gaps, fostering new ideas to enhance the product portfolio and drive sales growth.
- Manage the entire product life cycle of assigned products.
- Conduct market research to specify market requirements for current and future products.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and promote product solution sets for target markets.
- Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan in collaboration with various departments.
- Analyze potential partnerships throughout the value chain.
- Serve as the internal communicator of the product offering.
- Communicate with the Director of Sales and Head of Commercial Americas to provide strategic input on marketing, sales, and business development.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, financial, trade, and governmental organizations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in sales and/or marketing, with at least one year in a management role.
- Background in the packaging industry with exposure to various roles requiring problem-solving and investigative expertise is desired.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to overcome obstacles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate across different levels and nationalities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and achieve results.
- Strong understanding of legal processes.
- Highly developed negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate constructive business relationships.
