A Manufacturing Printing Company of flexible packaging material located in the Norwich, CT area is looking to fill the following position
Extruder Apprentice - 2nd - 3rd Shifts
Operates the rewind end of the machine as part of a team of three.
Inspects and assures that material being produced meets standards of quality and informs lead operator of any abnormalities.
Responsible for certain changeover activities.
Refers to internal job tickets and keeps machine supplied with polymers and foils according to job specifications.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Effectively communicates with on shift team as well as surrounding shifts.
Must be able to solve routine mechanical problems
Must be safety conscious.
Keeps areas of responsibility swept and clean.
Strives to learn the capabilities and functionality of the machine.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.54 - $21.23 per hour
