Job Description
Perform necessary paint, finishing, and paper hanging to property interior and exterior surfaces.
- Apply paint, varnish, stain, etc. to interior and exterior surfaces with brushes, rollers, and/or sprayers.
- Properly prepare surfaces prior to application of finish including but not limited to sanding, filling holes, and cleaning.
- Maintain all paints and painting supplies.
- Perform preventative maintenance as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred.
- Three (3) years of previous paint and paperhanging experience preferred.
- Must have hand and finger dexterity necessary to accomplish duties.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time during a shift.
- Other physical requirements include but are not limited to grasping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, bending, and twisting.
- Must possess knowledge of necessary equipment and the appropriate safety standards.
- Knowledge of all necessary hand tools and painting equipment.
- Must be able to match paint and wallpaper colors.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
