Paralegal assists and supports attorneys with research and document preparation for court proceedings and legal transactions. Utilizes a variety of sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and legal codes to research and analyze legal topics. Being a Paralegal drafts and edits legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts. Conducts fact-finding, data collection, and analysis used to prepare statements and arguments. Additionally, Paralegal assists attorneys with depositions, interviews, discovery, and investigations. Manages, organizes, and archives documents with software tools and technology. Applies specialized legal terminology appropriately in documents. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to an attorney. The Paralegal work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Paralegal typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. POSITION SUMMARY
Work Type: Remote subcontractor through Del.Trust
Pay: $30/hour
Hours: 10-15 hours per week

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Draft estate planning documents for attorney review using WealthDocx (Trusts, Wills, Ancillary documents)
- Probate accounting and inventory.
- Organization of assets, client files and utilize this data to produce reports
- Trust funding
- Draft correspondence
- Client Management
- Calendar Management
- File management
QUALIFICATIONS- 2 years of estate planning experience
- Illinois Probate & Estate Planning experience is required.
- 2 years experience using WealthCounsel software
- 2 years experience using Clio
- Remote/home office
- Motivated, reliable and able to work within a professional environment
- Experience and diligence in detailed time tracking
- Proficient in using document management systems and legal software.
