    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Director of Parking, Resiliency, and Sustainability Operations, the Parking Officer patrols campus parking lots, enforces establishes rules and regulations, and performs community service functions related to parking.

    Key Qualifications

    This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (high school level reading, writing and mathematical abilities) and three to six months related experience. Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required. Knowledge of Google Suite and PeopleSoft preferred. Knowledge of and/or the ability to learn how to use applicable parking-related equipment and automated systems is essential. The incumbent must successfully complete a pre-placement exam and must possess and/or obtain and thereafter maintain a California Driver's License valid for the operation of any vehicle or equipment required to maintain and operate.

    Salary and Benefits

    Salary for this position will not exceed $19.26/hr. This is a part time, temporary, non-exempt position. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
