Parts Inventory identifies, inspects, coordinates, and processes parts to be exchanged. Dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments. Being a Parts Inventory monitors all backorders and communicates and provides technical assistance to parts sales, customers, and branches. Updates and monitors the Parts Inventory database and places orders as needed. Additionally, Parts Inventory generates progress reports on schedule status, parts usage, and inventory and keeps records of completed orders. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parts Inventory works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our auto parts team to go to all 7 of our locations to count and maintain clean, neat inventories.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counting, straightening, and reporting our inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and accuracy within all 7 of our warehouses.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize data analysis tools to monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies
- Utilize inventory systems to track inventory movements.
- Conduct daily audits of inventory to ensure accuracy
- Move / Maintain order of products
- Utilize our inventory control systems which includes extensive knowledge of Microsoft excel and Microsoft Office products
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inventory control or related field
- Proficiency in using MRP systems for inventory management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and scanning guns
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret inventory data effectively
- Ability to handle materials safely
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices
