Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations of an organization. Provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and assistance to members. Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. The Pastor typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. We are seeking a teammate who will be a part of an overall strategy of addressing engagement. The Associate Pastor focusing on engagement can play a critical role in our mission : helping people move from discovering and connecting to Jesus to following Him fully alongside of others.
They will help lead leaders and build teams and systems to guide those new to Mill Creek to become fully engaged in the life and mission of the church.
From their first experience of the church through to connecting in meaningful relationships in a group and serving teams, the AP’s goal is to make the process clear, seamless and life giving.
The right candidate will want to grow and expand their leadership skills and gifts and a deep desire to see people grow in their faith and action.

The attractional model of church growth is a dying strategy as church attendance, even among Christians, dwindles to historic lows.
Thinking we must get people to attend Mill Creek in order to get them engaged won’t work moving forward. We are working towards a new strategy.
