Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations of an organization. Provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and assistance to members. Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. The Pastor typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pastor typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Responsibilities:
- Pastor and lead Worship/Creative/Tech Campus Teams
- Collaborate with church leaders to develop and execute the vision and mission of the church
- Work alongside campus worship pastors and team members to design and execute team and church objectives
- Engage in community outreach and evangelism effortsRequirements:
-Experience leading worship teams
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to educate and teach biblical principles effectively
- Compassionate and empathetic with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals in need
- A heart for Jesus, Understanding of practical theology, and alignment in Bethany's core values and belief statements.The purpose of the Worship Pastor at Bethany Christian Church is to lead others in worship, through song, scripture and other creative tools. This is done by: emphasizing the victory that we have in Jesus, giving people a place to use their gifts and talents in a God honoring form, forming a culture of worship, and raising/training others in the creative arts and leading worship.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
