Pastoral Care Director - Healthcare develops programs and oversees services designed to meet the religious and spiritual needs of patients, their families, and healthcare staff. Ensures that pastoral services are staffed so that chaplains are available to support patients and families facing difficult medical choices. Being a Pastoral Care Director - Healthcare establishes policies and procedures to facilitate optimal service delivery and ensure that emotional support, spiritual counsel, and comfort are provided. Evaluates and reviews records of counseling sessions and visitation logs to ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards. Additionally, Pastoral Care Director - Healthcare plans and coordinates with other clergy to conduct interfaith worship experiences. May perform the duties of a chaplain. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Pastoral Care Director - Healthcare typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pastoral Care Director - Healthcare typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Resident Care Director / Registered Nurse to fill an opening with a Large Healthcare Network, based in Happy Valley, OR.
Daily Responsibilities for Resident Care Director / Registered Nurse:- The Resident Care Director oversees overall wellness and assessments of residents and provides ongoing support to assess and improve care
- Supervises staff hiring and development, scheduling/assignments, and coaches team to improve performance
- Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm / 9am-6pm OR 4x10 schedule if preferred
Required Qualifications for Resident Care Director / Registered Nurse:- Active RN License in Oregon along with Accredited Nursing Degree
- ALF/LTC experience
- 3 Years of experience in management/leadership
- Familiarity with state regulations and geriatric nursing principles
