    Location: Holland, MI

    Position: Care Director

    What is Anchor In-Home Care?

Anchor is a rapidly growing, non-medical provider of in-home care services. Our innovative approach is redefining in-home care, bringing to market a new service offering that does in-home care the way it should be done. We are one of the largest providers of in-home care services in West Michigan partially because of the level of service quality and excellence we provide. We offer you an opportunity to join our phenomenal team with its beautiful culture and to partner with us to do something significant. We’re filled with wonder as we see a new vision for In-Home Care unfolding. This position offers fulfilment, joy, and a sense of significance. The Care Director is the hub of our service offering--liaising with clients, working with our administrative team and developing our cast of Personal Care Professionals. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Care Managers, supervising our Care Team, overseeing our client intake process, participating in and sometimes owning our various projects, liaising with clients and families, performing assessments, training CNAs, implementing our client retention program and managing care for scores of clients. This is a high-level, fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will not be bored! :-)

    Who Would You Report To?

As the Care Director, you would report to our Senior Director of Nursing and Client Care, with a dotted line to our Executive Director. The role also requires interaction with the President and CEO, though not in a direct reporting relationship. This is a high-level position with significant responsibilities.

    Who Are We Looking For?

We seek a talented, sophisticated self-starter who can relate to others exceptionally well. The nature of the role is such that it will undoubtedly attract RNs, retired RNs, or LPNs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in a senior care role, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Why Should You Be Interested In This Position?

Candidates attracted to this role will like the challenge of building something and the sense of personal satisfaction that comes from bringing shalom into a situation. They will be motivated by client appreciation and enjoy working in an office setting with other professionals; at the same time, they will enjoy getting out to visit clients, doing assessments, and coordinating with partners. They will be excited about being part of a rapidly growing company that is having a significant industry impact.

    What Benefits Does Anchor Offer?

Our pay for this position is attractive, though it may be somewhat less than pay rates for other RN positions. However, as we grow we do expect the position to become more remunerative. We offer two weeks of PTO to start. There is a wonderful culture, flexible schedules, a great team, employee discounts, and more. We offer health insurance and are currently implementing an attractive new health insurance plan which will be available Feb 2025.
