What Is The Position?

The Care Director is the hub of our service offering--liaising with clients, working with our administrative team and developing our cast of Personal Care Professionals. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Care Managers, supervising our Care Team, overseeing our client intake process, participating in and sometimes owning our various projects, liaising with clients and families, performing assessments, training CNAs, implementing our client retention program and managing care for scores of clients. This is a high-level, fast-paced role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will not be bored! :-)
Who Would You Report To?
As the Care Director, you would report to our Senior Director of Nursing and Client Care, with a dotted line to our Executive Director. The role also requires interaction with the President and CEO, though not in a direct reporting relationship. This is a high-level position with significant responsibilities.
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek a talented, sophisticated self-starter who can relate to others exceptionally well. The nature of the role is such that it will undoubtedly attract RNs, retired RNs, or LPNs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in a senior care role, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Our pay for this position is attractive, though it may be somewhat less than pay rates for other RN positions. However, as we grow we do expect the position to become more remunerative.
