Patient Coordinator
A well established plastic surgery practice is seeking to hire a patient coordinator to join our practice.
The ideal candidate will provide superior customer service, act as the liaison between the patient and surgeon, work collaboratively with the clinical team and strengthen the patients’ experience as a whole.
Must have strong customer service skills and be computer literate (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Sales experience is a plus.
Candidate must be EXTREMELY detail oriented, possess excellent communication skills (including editing and writing ability) and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Must have a professional presentation that is representative of our upscale practice.
Responsibilities/Duties
Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to

Answering patient phone calls

Scheduling surgical consultations and subsequent appointments

Assist in all surgical bookings

Manage the surgeon’s surgical schedule

Working alongside the clinical team during office hours

Collecting and managing payments

Maintaining record of all pre admission testing for patients

Familiarizing yourself with insurance plans and coverage
-
Serving as a direct point of contact for patients during their perioperative period
Qualifications
-
1-2 year of sales and/or high level customer service experience
-
Medical office experience in the areas of plastic surgery or dermatology preferred but not required

College degree preferred
