ECC is seeking candidates for an immediate position as Driver Courier (Base Escort) for the Hurricane Helene response efforts. MUST be able to pass background check obtain a base pass. Project locations is Moody Air Force Base in South Georgia. This position is responsible for driving automobile or light truck to escort contractors and others on and off base, supply runner and misc. additional duties. Position is temporary (approximately 3 months but could be shorter or longer) and hours worked could be as high as 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, depending on the needs of the project. In this position, you will:

• Perform a wide range of project-related activities as assigned by the manager
• Escort contractors and other authorized person on and off base as required
• Transport office personnel and visitors as required
• Supply runner and deliveries of misc items as needed
• Perform miscellaneous duties and errands
• Obtain and file receipts
• Complete tracking logs and other project documents as needed
• Interface with clients, with professionalism and courtesy
• Provide support and interface between procurement staff and project for project procurement activities
• Aid in completing expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
• In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's license and good driving record
• Must have a current military ID / base pass or be able to obtain one
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to perform a variety of duties with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently
• Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues in multiple locations
• Competent in using Microsoft Office products, email systems, and internet
• Must be able to work extended days and hours
• Travel: Must be able to work on-stie at project location and be able and willing to travel as required to meet project needs.
• Education: High School diploma or GED at minimum.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior ECC experience on disaster or emergency projects in similar capacity desired but not required
• Prior experience with disaster or emergency type projects
• Military experience

ECC targeted pay range for this position is $16.01 - $16.90 plus H&W rate ($5.36 per hour for hours worked up to 40 per week), actual pay will depend on work site location.
