INTAKE SPECIALIST

DEPARTMENT: Health Department - Healthy Beginnings

HIRING RANGE: $18.25-$20.28/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing excellent customer service, registering new WIC clients, scheduling appointments, providing clients and public with assistance, registering clients as voters, and promoting breastfeeding.

Job Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills critically important
• High School Diploma or GED with one to two years office experience
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and communicate effectively with the public
• Pre-employment background check and TB test
